Brandywine's breeding program has been a conscious sort of K-selection strategy from the beginning -- we produce few puppies and place them carefully with thoughtful owners, hoping that any who have excellent health, temperaments, and working traits will be bred once or twice when they are fully mature, and their offspring placed with similar care. We believe this is the responsible way to ensure that excellent English shepherds will remain available in the long, long term. We are starting to see the fruits of this policy.
Expected Litter

Sidhe appears to be pregnant on ultrasound as of March 26, so puppies should debut in early May, ready for homes in early July.

This is a rare opportunity for people in the southwest to acquire a locally-bred pup from rigorously-selected, health-tested working parents.
Jan will be requiring an application, references, and a strong puppy sales contract for these pups. She will not ship pups by air, so you will need to either drive to pick up your pup or fly with the pup as a carry-on at 8 weeks of age.
